It is still sort of chilly on the East coast, but this week is the start of spring. And in honor of spring, I would like to dedicate this Fab Friday to some Easter inspired items.

   In honer of St. Patrick's Day, I decided to dedicate this Fabulous Friday to things I love, that are Green. You may not want to wear GREEN head to toe, but adding these items to your wardrobe will make others "green with envy."

So what trends are you liking this season? Some things that seem to be very popular are items that are trimmed in leather (real & fake) and bright pops of color mixed with neutrals. Also, for the tough girl in you, shoes that make a statement with buckles and studs have been seen, at every price point. Mixing something soft with something a little more edgy can really make a statement. Or try adding sparkle in the form of jewelry and pairing it with something that looks a little less feminine.

In celebration of their success, they decided to collaborate in a 50^th anniversary celebration. Starting July 24^th, you can purchase pieces from the mini collection of Mets inspired apparel, designed from members of the CFDA, at Citifield. Those designers for this collection are: Billy Reid, Yigal Azrouel, Rogan Gregory & Scott Haan (from Loomstate) and Jeff Halmos (from Shipley and Halmos).

So this summer, what are you wearing?

What ever you wear, make sure that you have the best accessory you can carry with you: Sunscreen. Although that tan may make you look sexy, the effect of the golden brown skin may not have the results you wanted. Even with darker skinned individuals, sunscreen should be apart of your every day regimen.

For years, in fashion, we said “brown is beautiful”  but with recent awareness on our environmental changes and cancer developments, we have been shown what the sun can really do to our bodies and earth.
