Target will “Wu” this February
It was announced officially today by WWD that Jason Wu will be featuring a small line at Target next month. I have written about this rumor in a previous post and now it announced as TRUE!
Jason Wu said to WWD “My collection for Target features clothes and accessories that are easily convertible from day to evening., sophisticated, feminine dresses, mix and match separates, and playful accessories with a bit of charm and dress up attitude.”
The collection will feature pink and yellow dresses with black trim. Milu the cat was Wu’s Muse for the collection which was featured in early press photos for the eagerly expected line.
Items will cost around $19.99 to $49.99. It will consist of about 50 pieces of women’s wear, handbags, scarves, and other accessories. It will not be as large as the Missoni line that hit stores last summer. So you will not see cooking or home décor with Wu’s collection.
So this February 5th, start lining up to pick up you special item to kick off the spring season.
I wonder if our first lady Michelle Obama will showing up for the launch, as she is a fan of the designer too.
